BALLONA CREEK RENAISSANCE
Ballona Creek Renaissance (BCR) is a tax-deductible non-profit Culver City-based organization dedicated to the renewal and improvement of Ballona Creek in matters of environment, water quality, appearance, safety, art, recreation and education. The organization is involved in many projects with many partners, consisting of public agencies, other environmental organizations, public and private schools, businesses and many individuals. Two of the most visible projects are the murals at the entrances to the creek bike path at Duquesne Avenue and at Overland Avenue. Many other far-reaching projects are in progress, including eventual links with the Baldwin Hills State Park.
